Stars Netball Club offers the opportunity for players in the older age groups to volunteer to help the coaches during younger players’ training sessions, games and camp days.
Our Young Leaders really enjoy helping our coaches with everything from preparing the balls, bibs and court for play, running warm ups and drills to assisting in umpiring and coaching the players.
The Young Leaders consistently demonstrate their passion and love for netball and the experience develops their own understand of the game and provides invaluable coaching and umpiring skills and experience.
The coaches consider it a privilege to educate and work alongside our Young Leaders.
Many of our Young Leaders have registered for the England Netball initiative “Pass on Your Passion” where they log their hours of service and receive awards and prizes in recognition of their hard work.
